We Help People Stand Stronger

Started in 2019, Krembex grew from a simple idea. People need practical ways to handle pressure. Not theory, not quick fixes. Just real methods that actually work when things get tough.

Our programmes help you build the kind of resilience that shows up in daily life — whether you're dealing with workplace stress, personal challenges, or just the general chaos modern life throws at us.

How We Got Here

Building something meaningful doesn't happen overnight. Here's the honest path we took.

Early Days — 2019

Founded by Maeve Thorburn after watching too many capable people crack under pressure that shouldn't have broken them. Started with small workshops in Plymouth, testing what actually helped versus what just sounded good.

Finding What Works — 2020-2021

Spent eighteen months refining our approach through direct feedback. Dropped the fluff, kept what genuinely helped participants manage stress and bounce back faster. Built our core curriculum around real scenarios, not textbook examples.

Expanding Reach — 2022-2023

Moved beyond local workshops. Developed online programmes for those who couldn't attend in person. Partnered with several UK organisations looking for practical resilience training for their teams.

Today — 2025

Now supporting over 800 individuals annually through various programmes. Still based in Plymouth, still focused on practical application. Our approach has helped people in healthcare, education, tech, and dozens of other fields develop genuine resilience skills.

What Makes Our Method Different

We don't do motivational speeches or one-size-fits-all solutions. Our approach focuses on three distinct areas that work together.

Practical Application

Everything we teach gets used immediately. No waiting weeks to "implement learnings" — you practice techniques during sessions with real scenarios you're actually facing.

  • Real-time problem solving
  • Personal challenge mapping
  • Immediate feedback loops
  • Weekly practice integration

Skill Progression

Build resilience like you'd build any other skill — gradually, with clear milestones. Start with fundamentals, advance at your own pace, master what matters for your situation.

  • Structured learning paths
  • Personal pace flexibility
  • Measurable progress tracking
  • Advanced technique access

Ongoing Support

Resilience isn't something you learn once and forget. We provide continued access to resources, regular check-ins, and community support beyond your initial programme.

  • Monthly resource updates
  • Community practice groups
  • Direct instructor contact
  • Refresher session access

How Skills Build Over Time
